Summer Dirt - Rules & Info(1520 total words in this text)(448 Reads)  2010 Summer Dirt Series Featuring: N2k3 BB Mods & DTR2 V3 BBmods ADMINS TWA-Spider NFR-Terry TWA-CyberX NFR-CDaddy TEAMSPEAK2 IP: 216.246.38.85:8803 DTR2 SERVER IP: 72.51.60.180:32282 N2K3 SERVER IP: 72.249.94.154:32877 There will be, at least, 1 admin at every race. Any problems, or technical issues, needs to be brought to the attention of the Admin(s) Immediately. The decision of the Admin(s) is Final. There will be no replays, or reviews after the races. Any confrontation, arguing or disrespect, to any of the Admins (or any other driver), will cause you to be banned from the series permanently. Each participating driver must register with this series. Drivers not registered will not be allowed on the track. All drivers must have Teamspeak 2. Any driver not on Teamspeak 2, prior to the start of the event, will not be allowed on the track. Registration is to consist of the following: Nick Name: Real Name: Location: Car Number: (#'s are on a 1st come, 1st serve basis) Primary Sponsor: Email: Time Practice: Begins at 8:30pm EST. Either TWA N2K3 server or IDRS DTR2 servers. Qualifying: Begins sharply at 9:30pm EST. YOU MUST qualify to make the event, no qualification no race!! Qualifying will consist of 3 laps for both N2K3 and DTR2. Heat Race’s: Directly following the qualifying session. Heats will be lined up according to qualifying session. B Main: Depending on entries and we have to run 2 B mains. Those transferring out of the Heat races will be the Top 3. Meaning the B main will take Top 3, with the last spot going to the fastest non entered qualifier. This primarily pertains to DTR2, as in N2K3 we can race many more drivers, if for some reason we have more then 25 entries for an N2K3 race. Heats will transfer top 7 with 2 B mains transferring top 5. Last spot goes to the fastest non entered qualifier. A Main: Top 6 will be inverted as results of the heat race. Example: If you won the pole you will start 6th in the A Main, if you were 2nd you will start 5th etc. Any driver caught sandbagging will be subject to the admins decision, which could result in you forfeiting for the night. Sandbagging is a form of cheating. Racing will resume with the allotted laps scheduled for that event. Points A-main Points will be awarded as follows: 1st - 200 14th - 130 2nd - 190 15th - 125 3rd - 185 16th - 120 4th - 180 17th - 115 5th - 175 18th - 110 6th - 170 19th - 105 7th - 165 20th - 100 8th - 160 21st - 95 9th - 155 22nd - 90 10th - 150 23rd - 90 11th - 145 24th - 90 12th - 140 25th - 90 13th - 135 ------------- All entries will be awarded points. Drivers not making the A Main will receive 85 points for showing up and qualifying. The Series will have provisional starts. We here at TWA and NFR understand life, and although we appreciate when you show up and race with us, we also know that things in life do come up and you’re not able to attend every event. A driver who registers to run this series, will be awarded 3 provisional starts. Provisional starts will be awarded 85 points. Each week on the TWA Site, in the forums, will be a Provisional Start thread. Driver's who can not make the event are encouraged to use that thread to post your provisional, or by contacting TWA-Spider, TWA-CyberX, NFR-Terry, or NFR-Cdaddy. BONUS POINTS Fastest Qualifier – 10pts Heat Race Winners – 5pts Hard Charger Award – 5pts* Goody’s Headache Award – 10pts* * Hard Charger Award goes to the driver advancing the most positions in the A Main. If there is a tie, the driver posting the fastest qualifying lap will get the Hard Charger Points. * Goody’s Headache Award goes to the driver who loses the most positions in the A Main. If there is a tie, the driver posting the slowest qualifying time will get the Goody’s Headache Award. In any event that denotes a Twin race. There will only be one qualifying session and one set of heat races. The First A Main Twin race will lineup with the top 6 inverting (Like it’s ran every week), However the 2nd Twin race will see the whole field inverted. These events will be Double Points night. As you will receive points for the first race and the 2nd. They will be 3 champions crowned in this series. Overall Championship – N2K3 Championship – DTR2 Championship. Those winning each of these divisions will be awarded PRIZES! The Overall Champion will receive a plaque! NFR-Terry (Admin) and NFR-CDaddy (Admin) will be the ones over seeing the points and procedures pertaining to the points, all questions will be directed to them as they will try to assure everybody is awarded the correct amount of points per week. Rules 1.HAVE FUN – We made this Series for everybody who runs it to have fun. 2.RESPECT - I don’t care who you are, whether you’re the fastest or slowest guy on the net. YOU will respect each person that races in this series, including admins. FAILURE to do this will result in your forfeiting all your points, and be banned from the series immediately, no questions asked. 3.RACE CLEAN – I encourage each driver participating in this series to race clean. This means DO NOT purposely take other drivers out. DO NOT retaliate if it happens to you. If at any time you feel that you were purposely taken out or you have a problem with somebody. Talk to an admin over seeing the series. WE will not put up with rough driving. Rough driving will result in ejection from the race and banned from the series. 4.CHEATING – Will not be tolerated, if at any time a driver is caught cheating, for whatever reason, YOU will be banned from the series, and any future series' put on by the team(s) 5. CRYBABY’S - Everybody has seen and everybody has done it. HOWEVER, I won’t put up with it. Absolutely no crying or mouthing off at each other. If at any time an admin here’s or sees this, you will forfeit your pts for that night of racing. That’s the first time! a 2nd time you will be banned from the series. 6.REPLAYS - This is the internet and most of us are experienced sim racers, so everybody should understand that anything can happen. If a driver thinks he or she needs to send me a replay to validate something, think again. I don’t want to see it. If you send a replay, to any admin, pertaining to an on-track incident, you will forfeit points awarded to you for that event. We don’t have time to worry about he said, she said or you can see it plain as day. Remember this is for fun and all drivers in this series should have a lot of fun with everything we have lined up. 7.RESTARTS – There will be NO RESTARTS once the green flag drops for the A MAIN. However, if a driver is kicked (internet) or their game is locks up, prior to the start of the A Main. We will wait 5 mins for that person. Then we will resume action in the A Main. 8.It is each driver's responsibility to maintain their own equipment. If you need to reboot your computer, router, network connection, or turn off unneeded programs..........Please do this prior to entering the server. All questions pertaining to the above rules, contact TWA-Spider (Admin). As he is the one that will oversee the series and make sure that all drivers involved have fun and enjoy themselves. THE GAMES Downloads: We understand that there are things to download in order to run this series. If you do not have DTR2, there are a couple of ways we can get it to you. Please contact TWA-CyberX or TWA-Slash for info in obtaining DTR2. Each division will have its own Track Pack available for download. Custom car skins are not mandatory, but they are nice to have. If you have a custom skin, Please submit it to TWA-CyberX. He will upload it for others to download. Please ! Only 1 skin per mod ! Your custom skins will also be used for rendering winner's pictures for publishing. If you do not have a skin, and wish to have one, let somebody know and we will help you with it, or paint you one up.
